Have a question regarding the McMaster Child Health Conference?
We've answered some of our most FAQs below!
Do I have to be an undergrad student to submit research?
No! We accept research from anyone! (PhD students, master’s students, medical students, undergraduate students.)

Does my research have to correlate with the conference theme?
No! While connection to the theme is recommended, it is not required. We accept research in all aspects of child health.

What is the dress code for the conference? 
There is no specific dress code for the conference. In the past, most attendees chose to wear business casual; however, feel free to wear whatever is comfortable! Keep in mind that you may be travelling between rooms during speakers, workshops, and lunch.

Do I have to be a BHSc student to attend the conference? 
No! Students from any McMaster program or degree can attend.

Can I receive financial accommodations to attend the conference, including the cost of tickets and parking? 
Yes! There is an option to indicate these requests in the registration form.

Does research have to be completed in order to present at the conference? Or is ongoing research acceptable? 
Works in progress as well as completed work are both acceptable!

When can we chose workshops?
A sign up sheet will be sent out via email shortly to all registered attendees, so keep an eye on your inboxes! Don't forget to register ASAP for the conference to sign up for your preferred workshop! 


Is the McMaster Child Health Conference the same event as the McMaster Child Health Research Day?
No! While both events showcase the amazing research being done in the field of child health, these two events are separate!
